Tony Oso Revisits The Sounds Of Classic Rock With New Single, ‘Tears’

Released just in time for Halloween, ‘Tears’ from Tony Oso has a sort of Gothic, retro flavour, reminiscent of the likes of Gary Numan, and Thomas Dolby.

‘Tears’ is out now and is available to stream and download here.

Based in Melbourne, Florida, Tony Oso is a man with a mission, and that is, to uplift others with his music. Drawing from his own journey and experiences with love, pain, and mental health struggles. With that in mind, his new single, ‘Tears’, is one which should resonate well with his listeners.

Using evocative imagery to convey the deep emotion of the track, “like sunlight through a stormy sky”, “like ripples in my memory”, Oso is able to share with his listeners exactly what he’s feeling, and in so doing offer them some solace in their challenges, and motivate them to carry on forward.

His sound blends the rich vocals of 80s new wave with the raw, energetic sound of 70s classic rock, and imbibes it with modern production sensibilities. Evoking the likes of the above mentioned Gary Numan and Thomas Dolby, he also calls on the style of The Who, Talking Heads, and even The Killers, thus ensuring listeners across the musical spectrum.

‘Tears’ is out now and is available to stream and download here.
