Released January 26, ‘In The Night’ is the new release from Sydney, Australia’s Kal Elle. The track is his first drop for 2024, and combines non-stop groove and bounce, in a high octane deep house style.
Infusing old skool RnB with the luxuriant flow of hip hop, Kal Elle brings listeners a smooth, sinuous, yet soulful sound with ‘In The Night’. It’s at once a fresh taste while somehow familiar, and the rhythms are impossible to resist getting up and dancing to.
Kal Elle’s initial musical inspirations came from the likes of Michel Jackson, New Edition, and Stevie Wonder, and as time went on, he fused these RnB sounds with electronica. Kal Elle blends the contemporary with the classic, and his previous releases, ‘Running’, and ‘Loyalty’, are fine examples of this.
While Kal Elle’s sound has an international flavour, it’s still distinctly “Sydney”, with the fresh vibrancy that comes from that city.
