Released August 29, ‘Mood’ from Nigerian artist Tilly is sure to lift your spirits. The track, which follows on from his hotly-received debut single ‘Dey For You’, is available to stream and download here.

Tilly sees out the summer with ‘Mood’, with an afrobeat sound that is packed full of sunshine and good vibes. It’s impossible to resist the groovy, infectious beat of the song, which came to the artist as he was contemplating his emotional experiences, and the relationships around him.

Recorded alongside a raft of other tracks that Tilly is ready to launch on the world, ‘Mood’ was produced by esteemed producer JASE, and is an exciting promise of what is yet to come.

Tilly, whose real name is Azubuike Joshua Tochuckwu, might still only be 21 years old, but he’s had a whole lifetime of honing his craft. He discovered his innate gift for storytelling and singing during his early years, and realised his true calling was the world of music. However, he had to put all this on hold, while seeing to his commitments of study and family, and decided to start pursuing it properly once he finished high school.

Still with one year left in school, Tilly made his debut with his single, ‘Dey For You’, which was met with high praise and received significant attention, due to its catchy melodies, infectious beats, professional production, and his evident passion, which is clear throughout the track. With new single, ‘Mood’, on its way to similar accolades, it’s clear that the sky’s the limit for this young and exciting artist.
