The Princess of Pop has been on fire lately, releasing her latest single, ‘Padam Padam’, for her newest album on May 18th. The song has been officially and unofficially remixed several times, but earlier this week, Minogue released the last official remix of the song with fellow Australian HAAi. The highly anticipated album, titled ‘Tension’, will release later this year, on September 22nd, with ‘Padam Padam’ acting as the lead single.
Kylie Minogue has been in the music industry for 5 decades now, selling over 80 million records and becoming Australia’s most successful female artist. She has also worked with an incredible cast of artists and producers through her 16-album discography – with fellow Australian producer HAAi being her latest collaborator. HAAi has been hard at work for the last decade, with notable events including her winning an award from BBC Radio 1 in 2018 and releasing her debut EP, ‘Systems Up, Windows Down’, in 2019. Now, the two have collaborated to release the third and final official remix of ‘Padam Padam’ together.
On Saturday last week (July 22nd), HAAi performed a night set which included an exclusive live play of her newest work, the ‘Padam Padam’ remix. Putting her own spin on the song to create a high-energy anthem, she got the crowd pumped up immediately with her unique take on the electro pop hit. Now, the song is available on streaming platforms for anyone to listen to, and although it doesn’t match the experience of hearing it live, it’s still an energetic mix that all kinds of listeners will enjoy.
