Set within the mystical grounds of Scorrier House, Cornwall, The Great Estate is an Award-winning boutique family festival. Now in its 5th year, 2022 will see it bigger than ever with an increased capacity of 10,000 guests across the 4 day Jubilee weekend, enjoying the Woodland Silent Disco, Health & Wellbeing in The Sanctuary, an enchanting range of curious happenings and the mighty Manic Street Preachers headlining. The Great Estate Festival is bursting at the seams with live music, quality entertainment and lots of fun fringe things to do. It’s a stylish fete for all ages, with cabaret shows, participatory workshops, magical trails, gorgeous glamping and a flair for the extraordinary.

This year the festival is headlined by Manic Street Preachers,  one of the most influential and iconic rock bands to have come out of Wales. Throughout the years they have collected fans from all over the world, maturing and changing musically whilst always keeping the classic Manics sound. They will be bringing with them a catalogue of old and new hits including; ‘You Stole The Sun From My Heart’, ‘Design For Life’ & ‘ If You Tolerate This ‘alongside newer songs such as ‘Orwellian’ and ‘The Secret He Had Missed’, both taken from their most recent album.

There will be wild performances from an inspired line-up, including the mighty Electric Six, The Sugarhill Gang, Grandmaster Melle Mel’s Furious 5 & Scorpio, DJ Yoda, Elektra Fence (Ru Paul’s Drag Race), Krafty Kuts, The Future Shape Of Sound, Loup Garoux (Ed Harcourt), Will & The People, ‘Oh My God! It’s The Church’, Dick Valentine & returning once again, to the prestigious grounds of Scorrier House, festival favourite, Funk and Soul icon Craig Charles, who will undoubtedly whip the crowd into yet another high energy dancefloor frenzy.

Nestled within the prestigious grounds of Scorrier House, The Great Estate has quickly become one of Cornwall’s most anticipated music festivals. Raising its a capacity to 10,000 guests this year, The Great Estate is renowned for showcasing international musicians and local emerging talent, alongside performances from a string of major bands and DJ’s including Echo and the Bunnymen, The Charlatans, Razorlight, James & Goldie Looking Chain. It continues to add to an eclectic portfolio of artists each year for a weekend of exuberant delights.

Scorrier House is an exclusive country house set within four hundred acres of private parkland and historic gardens. Originally built in 1780 by the mining tycoon John Williams, Scorrier House embodies an important period of Cornish history. Home to the Williams family, Scorrier House is renowned for its garden, an evolving timepiece combining winding paths, wild meadows, maintained borders, flowering urns and radiant vistas.
