Afropop Artist Obdyk Releases Latest Single, ‘So Long’

Afropop artist Obdyk takes the positivity associated with the genre to the next level with his new single, ‘So Long’. The catchy melodies and lyrics of the track represents the singer’s journey through life, which he shares with honest and compelling vocals.

Real name Obidike Somtochukwu, Obdyk hails from the African continent, and is very much influenced by his heritage and culture, and his sound pays homage to Burna Boy, while his beats are reminiscent of The Weeknd. His intention is to inspire young people around the world, by using Afrobeat and Afropop to capture the hearts of his audiences, and drawing on his unique ability to encourage those around him to stay positive. Describing himself as similar to Omah Lay, Obdyk has a noticeably more optimistic outlook on life.
