‘Love’s All’, the new single from Terry ‘Jahz’ Lewis, follows on from his previous release, ‘Love Is Cool’. The velvety smooth, delicious voice of guest vocalist Robert Ball is just one of the highlights of this track, which was written about the universe, freedom, and how we love – a virtual meditation in a song.
Taken from his most recent album, ‘Rise Up Universe’, ‘Love’s All’ is a collaboration between Lewis and producer Jeremy Ledbetter, it also features contributions from an array of other incredible artists: George Koller, Mark Kelso, Alexis Baro, Joy Lapps-Lewis, Colleen Allen, Joanna Majoko, Derek Thorne, Luis Orbegoso, Pat Blanchard, Gail Berry, Michael Dunston, Dave West, Marito Marques, and Zachary de Lima.
Terry ‘Jahz’ Lewis, a notable Blues, Jazz, and Afro-Caribbean Soul musician, from Toronto, has a CV a mile long, which includes two Juno Awards for co-composer in collaboration, and working with Lillian Allen’s Revolutionary Tea Party Band.
‘Love’s All’, ‘Love Is Cool’, and the album ‘Rise Up Universe’ itself, were written against the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic, and serve as a meditation in which to understand the importance of love, spiritual insight, and enlightenment, in the midst of all that is going on around us. The artist spent eight days at a Native spiritual retreat in Ontario, and was inspired to share some of his spiritual experiences, resulting in the album.
