Fresh from racking up more than 42 million streams and over 14 million YouTube views, rising star and pop powerhouse Alice Chater returns with ‘Two Of Us’.
Produced by MYKL (Zayn Malik’s ‘Pillow Talk’, Rita Ora, Mabel), the track is a deeply personal, simple and elegant ballad, wrought with emotion and Alice’s breathtaking vocals.
Alice says:
“‘Two Of Us’ is a reality check about a relationship that’s at breaking point. You love the person and they love you too, but you find yourselves falling deeper into a toxic environment that you can no longer pretend is ok. This is that ‘last chance to save the relationship’ song. It’s super personal and was difficult to sing due to the emotions I felt at the time, but I’m really excited to share it with the world.”
Alice has to date released a slew of unstoppable songs including the Human League-sampling ‘Hourglass’ (2 million YouTube views), ‘Tonight’ and shimmering electro gem ‘Heartbreak Hotel’. Radio support has come from Track of the Week and Best New Pop on Radio 1, BBC Introducing Kent and Kiss.
She has been wowing pop fans across the UK with full-throttle performances including the Mighty Hoopla festival, Celine Dion’s huge Hyde Park show and Brighton Pride alongside Kylie. In September last year Alice set out on her first UK headline tour, which included her second sold out London show.
The end of 2019 saw Alice collaborate with Iggy Izalea on ‘Lola’, a track that has had 30 million streams, 26 million views on YouTube and 21,000 videos made on TikTok, with the pair performing live at the International Music Awards. Alice also collaborated with Professor Green on ‘Got It All’, a song that hit No.2 on UK iTunes, trended at No.6 on YouTube and was added to Hot Hits UK on Spotify.
Stand by for more glorious pop from Alice, as she has spent the last 6 months working on new material that will be released throughout the Summer of 2020.
