Zkeletonz Rock Retro Vibes With Single ‘One Man Band’

Hoxton-based Zkeletonz’ latest single, ‘One Man Band’, has a unique vocal style combined with an 80s synthy sound.

The electro band, whose music adheres to their self-described genre, ‘PostPop’, comprises Gav Venture on vocals (he also looks after the visuals), Will Taylor on guitars and keyboards, and Ed Trotsky on percussion and bass.

The overall vibe is one of DIY 1980s music, which is reflected in the video as well. ‘One Man Band’ calls to mind the likes of Peppermint Heaven, with their intensely synth vibes.
It’s a sound that takes a little bit of getting used to, but once you’re fully on board there’s no turning back. Zkeletonz have headlined at the Seabright Arms in Hoxton, with the support from another EP favourite, Jazz Mino.
‘One Man Band’ (with the video showing all three members of Zkeletonz plus one…) is out now and can be streamed on Spotify.
You can find out more about Zkeletonz online on their official website, Twitter, and Instagram. Check them out on the #POSTPOP Radio Show, every Wednesday evening at 8, on Boogaloo Radio. You can also listen to more of their music on YouTube.
