‘Awesome’ is a thumping pumping track from Lillemäe that will make you want to get out of your chair and either race to the nearest club and start laying down some moves or alternatively get you going in the gym for a hyper-energetic workout.
Stridently living up to its name, ‘Awesome’ is very much so. It’s supercharged and stimulates all the senses. Robert could only improve on his mixes by making some colourful, swirling videos similar to the images he uses to accompany his tracks on Soundcloud. The rhythms are unrelenting but somehow we don’t want them to ever stop. Towards the end however, there’s a nice touch with a slowing down heartbeat-style sound, and it’s as if a machine is turned off…slowly. We’re let down with a bump but it’s all good – ‘Awesome’ is only a click of the replay button away.
