Natalise + the Sunset Run – ‘In the Fall’

We’ve covered Natalise + The Sunset Run a number of times here on Essentially Pop, most recently in January with their single, ‘Be’, from their ‘Constellations’ EP, released last year. Their second single from the EP, ‘In The Fall’, takes on a personal perspective, with Natalise opening up about getting swept off her feet unexpectedly.

The ethereal vocals which are Natalise’s trademark are still in evidence, as she tells of how she was in a dark place for so long, pushed and pulled by the bleakness of the reality around her. She was saved by love when she had reached her lowest point – it “crashed into her world”. Her stunning voice is elegant as always, and the  drums build up to the chorus with Natalise crying out, “In the fall I found it all, through the dark I saw the dawn; in the fall I found it all, and you knew it all along.”

In keeping with the summer vibes of the song is a clip shot in the Joshua Tree filled desert outside of LA, following Natalise and her love on a journey as all reality melts around them. The shots of mountains and vast expanses of deserts are interwoven with intimate moments – showing what it’s like to fall in love.

‘Constellations’ is available on iTunes, Amazon, and Spotify. Find Natalise + The Sunset Run online on their official website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and SoundCloud.
