Following the overwhelming success of the band’s latest studio release – “Together” – which charted at #8 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart earlier this year and led to providing the group with high-profile opportunities for live performances alongside artists, such as Poison, Tesla, One OK Rock, Emarosa, Set It Off, Hawthorne Heights and more, melodic rock quintet Restless Streets is now back with a critically acclaimed, brand new stand alone single – “Control”!

“Control” is a breathless, melodic and rhythmically brilliant composition that allows the momentum to swing between ideas and melodies in an effortless manner, as it forms a cleanly produced passionate, optimistic and incredibly charismatic singalong anthem with a remarkable chorus exploding in time-honoured fashion that inevitably going to be ingrained in your head.

The song acts as a perfectly clear indication that the members of Restless Streets are still following the tendency to use their undeniable musical talent to present and showcase strong emotional missives to their audience. However – with this release – the band embraces diverse influences and sonic textures and expands the best elements of its profile and characteristics, pushing them into new territory, as all of this results in the development of a terrific performance that is captivating both in its intensity and differentiation, imbued with a new life and energy.

Discussing the single, Restless Streets provides further explanation:

”Control”is a somewhat oxymoronic title for this song because the lyrics are about recognizing, and accepting the things that we cannot change. The track is about realizing what you’ve got at the present moment, and enjoying the pleasures of love, and passion within that moment with somebody important to you. This song embodies the feeling of liberation you experience when you decide to stop over thinking, give up control, and let your heart lead the way.”
