Kentucky native Charm’n is set to release her first full album, ‘Gangsta Goddess’ on 27 December, and will be available for downloading and streaming.
Nominated for ‘2017 Best Artist Of The Year’ at the Ohio Hip Hop Awards, Charm’n was raised in a rough neighbourhood, and she spent a period in juvenile detention. This however proved to be a blessing in disguise, as it led to her realising she wanted more, and the change in attitude leading to pursue music as a career. With influences including Lil Yachty and Post Malone, Charm’n’s music reflects her gritty, passionate personality.
Initially recording her music herself, Charm’n said,
“I had nobody else to do it for me. Everyone I tried to work with was either unprofessional or didn’t believe in me as a female artist. I had to do it for myself. So I did”.
‘Gangsta Goodess’ has an urban beat and powerful lyrics which convey Charm’n’s past life experiences, while her vocals are pure and assertive.
An incredibly busy and hardworking woman, Charm’n alos studies fine arts at college, as well as modelling alongside her music career. You can find Charm’n online on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
