Bradford’s Warme Heats Up With ‘Council House Opera’

Warme 1

Bringing a heavy blend of classic rock Bradford band Warme turn up the heat with their album, ‘Council House Opera’.

Comprising Lee Walsh on Lead Vocals, Craig and Jamie Hamilton on Guitars, Macaulay Haywood on Bass, and Lewis Knight on Drums, the quintet were originally formed in 2003, and cite influences as diverse as Thin Lizzy and Led Zeppelin and Paul Weller.

Warme have played European festivals, toured extensively, appeared on TV, and received rave reviews in the UK, Europe, and the US music press – but rather than sign any of the several record contracts they were offered, decided to stay true to their roots and remain independent, with their album released on their own label.

About the author

There’s a lot of music out there - good music. At Essentially Pop our remit is that we cover music that deserves to be heard, with a particular focus on independent artists. That doesn't mean we won't cover your old favourites - rather we hope to give you some new favourites as well.

We no longer accept unpaid PR agency work. We believe the creative arts have value, and this includes writing. As always, we will write about artists who contact us - or who we contact - for free - but we can no longer work free of charge for PR agencies. We work hard, we put in a lot of hours writing, and we ask that you respect that. Contact us for our very reasonable rates.
