We Do Like The ‘VOODOO’ From Beth Macari

Beth Macari 1

Beth Macari made it to number 18 on iTunes singer songwriter chart with her debut single, ‘Heartstrings’, which was aired on BBC Introducing across 39 stations nationally. The Newcastle soul singer is set to release her follow up single, ‘VOODOO’ on May 28.

In 2015 Beth was chosen to front the house band of Sky One’s brand new music and comedy game show, ‘Bring The Noise’. Handpicked by highly acclaimed music director Nigel Wright, the show saw Beth sing alongside Host Ricky Wilson, from Kaiser Chiefs, and Team Captains Nicole Scherzinger and Tinie Tempah.

Beth’s powerful vocals made a lasting effect on the star guests, including David Tennant, Katy B, and Melanie C, who took to social media to show their appreciation.

Having previously toured Europe, as well as the UK where Beth delivered high class performances with her original music, she’s recently formed a band with some of her favourite musicians. Beth has some great gigs lined up, including supporting New Orleans’ ‘Hot 8 Brass Band’ at Newcastle’s Riverside, performing at the Lindisfarne Festival, Riverside Live, and Tynemouth’s award-winning Surf Cafe.

Beth will support English-Irish singer and rapper Maverick Sabre at his show at The Georgian Theatre, Stockton-On-Tees, on 28 May. You can find tickets here.

Keep an ear out for more music from Beth to be released throughout 2016.
