Hailing from Hackney, East London, Tanya G is ready to submerge the music scene with her soulful voice and relatable lyrics.

This Indian-Irish triple-threat, singer/songwriter and dancer has been composing music from the young age of 11 years old, as a way to express her mixed feelings, experiences and to find her own place of serenity. Her dynamic rhythm and attraction to the beat came of assistance during her street dance career with the dance crew, ‘Platinum’, for 5 years. However, she came to realise that dancing alone wasn’t fulfilling her passion for music. So she hit the studio.

Based on her belief that “Anything is Possible”, her dancing background, love for UK garage and aspirations towards artists such as Beyoncé, Sade and Mariah Carey; Tanya G later joined the girl group ‘Fe-Nix’. It was while in this group she shared the stage with artists the likes of JLS, Pussycat Dolls, Tinchy Stryder, Tinie Tempah and N-Dubz (the last including a 30 show tour).

In her career she has also been heavily involved with Universal Records, both signed and her songs featuring on several compilations released by the label. This has created both memories and achievements to be proud of.

‘Can’t Feel Your Love’ is one of her newest trophies.  This track leaves us with the mix of dance, a splash of deep house and soulful garage. The contagious melodies vocalised by Tanya herself, will have you singing along and conjuring up feelings you didn’t realise you had before.

The track is produced by Urban Soul, a unique German DJ whose creative flow makes your body subconsciously dance with the beat. Urban Soul has written and produced records for various artists across Europe.

‘Can’t Feel Your Love’ is coupled with a remix from half of Crazy Cousinz DJ, ‘Paleface’ (whose track, ‘Do You Mind’, was sampled on Drake’s new single, ‘One Dance’). It’s the first single from her debut album, set for release in early 2016, which will feature collaborations with OldSkool Garage producers such DJ ‘STICKY’ and other legends in this arena, as well as NewSkool competitors.
