We are excited to hear that Australian powercore-metal pioneers, A Breach Of Silence, have finished tracking songs for their third studio album with legendary producers Fredrik Nordstrom and Henrik Udd (Bring Me The Horizon, In Flames, Arch Enemy, Opeth). The now unnamed album will contain thirteen songs and be released by Eclipse Records by Fall of 2016.
āWe approached this album differently than the last two albums Freddy and Henrik did for usā says guitaristĀ Cossie. āThey flew down here to meet up with us the day after Christmas, and over the next twenty days we tracked the album. Drums were done atĀ Core StudiosĀ in Gold Coast, guitars were tracked on a farm in Roma, and vocals were done atĀ Cosgrove ManorĀ in Brisbane. Afterwards, they brought the stems back toĀ Studio FredmanĀ in Gothenburg, Sweden where they have been sending us various mixes of the album on a consistent basis.ā

VocalistĀ Rhys FlanneryĀ continues, āWeāre really proud of what weāve created here. Itās different than our previous albumĀ The Darkest Road. Blair and I are doing lots of vocal harmonies, thereās a lot more stuff people can sing along with. Itās still heavy as hell, just much more diverse than our previous album.ā

The previous album, The Darkest Road, by A Breach Of Silence had a great response debuting on the iTunes Metal Chart at #1 in Australia and #20 on AIRA’s 100%; as well as dozens of music blogs and media publications placing it on their Best of 2014 lists. Knowing the success of the last album the band knew they had there work cut out for them.

Flannery goes on to explain, “We did well on our last album, and set the bar for success pretty high, so weāve got to top that this time around. The support and encouragement from our fans was a great source of inspiration throughout the song-writing process. In return, we knew we would have to give them something that connects with their hearts and souls, not just their ears. I think weāve done that here ā although we still have to come up with a name for it!ā
