EFA (real name Aoife Geary) grew up in Connemara in Ireland's west, with Irish as her first language. She's since relocated to London, but aims with her music to bring a taste of her native language and culture to the world stage.

EFA’s debut single, ‘Bottom of the Glass’, came about when she told the Danish producer, Rasmus Bom Andersen, “I wanna record a rock party anthem that gets people excited about a night out!” The result is exactly that – a rocky, edgy song that reminds us of Siouxsie Sioux – another strong female rocker.

'Bottom of the Glass' has had airplay on the radio in the UK, US, Europe and Ireland, with EFA also performing in Ireland, the USA, Australia, and on the stage at Lisbon's Hard Rock Cafe. Her shows are characterised by high octane energy, and her London stage debut, in 2014, took the audience on an emotional roller coaster as she performed a support slot for Irish legend, Jack Lukeman.
