After more than 10 years apart, British boy band 5ive, which comprises Scott Robinson, Ritchie Neville and Sean Conlon, were asked to reform as part of the ITV series, “The Big Reunion”. It is because of the huge success of this that they announce they’re to hit the road on a UK tour next April.
Calling it the “Loud and Intimate Tour”, 5ive start on April 16 at Bristol’s O2 Academy, before visiting the north west of England (plus a gig in Glasgow), and finally finishing at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, on 24 April.
The set list consists of pure pop classics, including “When the Lights Go Out”, “Slam Dunk Da Funk”, “We Will Rock You”, “Let’s Dance”, and “Keep On Moving”.
5ive enjoyed incredible worldwide success throughout the late 90s and 00s, selling over 20 million records and reaching the top 10 a total of 11 times. They had four platinum selling albums in the UK, sold out arena tours, and hosts of awards.
Tickets go on sale on kililive.com this Wednesday 17 December, at 10am. A VIP package will be available, offering lucky audience members the chance to meet Five, as well as gaining early entry to the venue and an exclusive signed poster.
