Essential Advent Calendar: Circuit3 – ‘I Believe In Father Christmas’ December 20, 2017 Irish synth artist Circuit3 (aka Peter Fitzpatrick) has released his take on the classic, ‘I Believe In Father Christmas’. Originally released in 1975 by Greg Lake (Emerson Lake & Palmer) with lyrics by Peter Sinfield, the instrumental riff between the verses on ‘I Believe In Father Christmas’ comes from the ‘Troika’ portion of Sergei Prokofiev’s ‘Lieutenant Kijé’ Suite. Circuit3’s synthy version was recorded in Dublin using classic retro analogue synthesisers, giving the song a charmingly warm vibe.
