Papi Shiitake Implores Us To ‘Do What You Say’

With his new single, ‘Do What You Say’, Brooklyn-based, indie dream-pop producer/artist Papi Shiitake reaches deep into his subconscious, while taking inspiration both from Phil Spector and Kanye West. The end result is a sound that we can’t help but get swept up into.

Papi Shiitake – ‘Quarantine Dream’

Papi Shiitake is back with another hot take on quarantine life. The Brooklyn based duo, comprising Young Tuxx and Ryan Sieloff, who we first met last month with their single, ‘Enjoy The View’, continue to entertain with their new single, ‘Quarantine Dream’, along with an animated video.

Papi Shiitake – ‘Enjoy The View’

Papi Shiitake is the brainchild of Young Tuxx, best known as the frontman of Brooklyn band, Best Behaviour. The project sees him collaborating and co-writing with his long time friend,  Ryan Sieloff. The pair unite the East and West coasts of the USA, and incorporate their distinct styles, with Sieloff’s 60s-inspired dreamscapes, and Young Tuxx’s tales of optimistic loneliness. Together they create an alt-surf frock world which comes unfiltered from their creative minds.
