Following on from our piece about Roger O’Donnell and Julia Kent a few weeks back, and also our more recent piece about the Post Romantic Empire Album, come the following videos for Roger and Julia’s pieces, ‘Marke’ and ‘Tristan’ (both from ‘Tristan and Isolde’), and ‘Il Regno Dei Morti’ and ‘La Ninfa’, from ‘Orpheus and Eurydice’.

If you recognise the name Roger O’Donnell, it’s probably because he was formally a keyboard player with the alternative rock band The Cure. It may come as some surprise then to learn that he has spent most of the last five years composing for orchestral strings.
