25-year old Italian-American model Lorenzo Doryon has swapped the photo studio for the recording studio as he gears up to release his debut EP. ‘Straight Into The Fire’ is a single taken from the EP and opens with Lorenzo singing “Take the dark days and send them to the sun” as the electronic clap beat kicks in and then blends with soaring electric guitar. The chorus is anthemic and is perfect for a live gig sing-along as the punch the air Clubland-esque beat pumps rhythmically.
Five piece boyband Roadtrip are made up of Andy Fowler, Rye Beaumont, Sonny Robertson, Brooklyn Wyatt and Jack Duff. The British/Irish band, who have been together since 2016, have opened a new online merchandise store, which includes new merch. This means that their many international fans will now also have access to the same merch as fans in the UK and Ireland.
What promises to be one of the highlights of 2020, Kasabian have announced a massive hometown show at Leicester’s Victoria Park for June 20th, six years on from their triumphant first show at the venue. It’s their first outdoor UK show since their massive Isle of Wight headline set and their first UK show since a raucous Brixton Academy set in 2018.
It has been officially announced that Netflix have renewed ‘The Umbrella Academy’ for a second season, with the cast – comprising Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, and Justin Min – reprising their roles. Further casting news for season two will be announced at a later date.
