gloryBots Remind Us To Keep Breathing With New Release, ‘Apnea’

The first track from gloryBots’ fourth album, ‘Mad End’, ‘Apnea’ flirts somewhere between shoegaze and goth, post-punk and alt-rock. The drum beats are the very definition of the song’s title, as they mimic with their staccato rhythms the sleeper’s temporary cessation of breath and the sudden gasp for air.

Glorybots – ‘Wrong’ From New Album ‘Invisible’

Seattle-based singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jalal Andre has been performing for the more than 20 years with indie rockers Echo Texture. His side-project, Glorybots, allows him to set a focus on music outside of the rock sphere, with more complex themes and experimental composition. ‘Wrong’ is the lead single from his upcoming self-released set ‘Invisible’, due out on July 31.

Glorybots – ‘Dream About Nothing’, And ‘Afterlife’

They call their sound “dark alien pop”, and it suits them as snugly as a flying saucer fits a little green alien. Glorybots make music that feels extraterrestrial, and their songs strongly suggest that the planet they’re coming from may not be the nicest place in the galaxy.
