Fresh off a UK tour supporting Collabro, and her anticipated film debut, the Pedring Lopez action flick ‘Shadow Transit’, in which she stars as the mysterious figure Celeste, she’s now stepping into the world of fashion design – while also preparing for a glittering return to the screen.
Teasing a long-awaited drop, Qymira took to Instagram to mark the arrival of her very own brand – Qymira Qouture. Showcasing both her elegant style and her music’s fusion of dramatic pop and orchestral grandeur, this extravagant collection features ballgowns inspired by her embrace of Hollywood glamour. Think elongated necklines, shimmering gold, and eveningwear designed for candlelit dinners and film awards after-parties – all elements that reflect Qymira’s on-stage-to-on-screen demeanour, like glistening camera flashes.

And if that wasn’t enough to be excited about, it’s clear her place on the silver screen is here to stay. Teaming up once again with director Pedring Lopez (best known for Netflix’s Maria), following the success of ‘Shadow Transit’, the star will lead the historical action drama ‘A Thread Of Steel’ – the first major co-production under the newly formalised partnership between Hong Kong-based Act 3 and BlackOps Studios Asia.
Set to be filmed in Hengdian World Studios, China, the film will be shot in a historical setting, weaving together action, drama, and a character-focused narrative to deliver a story rooted in distinctly Asian storytelling. Known for bringing cinematic drama into her music – having written and performed Shadow Transit’s evocative theme, ‘Shade Of My Shadow’ – her genre-blending style shines through across all her creative pursuits.
