If you weren’t making music, what would your dream job be?
I have a real passion for wellness and personal healing and helping others achieve that as well. If I was not making music, I would probably try to found a series of wellness centers for people trying to enhance their physical & spiritual beings. I have 800 yoga hour training certification and as well as Reiki. Reiki is a form of of energy healing.
My ultimate dream is to open healing centers and schools for children, with the success of my music career. I love helping people and making a difference in the world. Be the change you wish to see.
Do you have any unusual skills, hobbies, or secret passions fans wouldn’t guess?
Yes – but while I am typically discursive in press interviews, my husband would kill me if I talked about that reality for public consumption. You can file that one under TOO MUCH INFORMATION. (But a hint: it ain’t yoga).
What’s a song, movie, or TV show you secretly love?
Actually, there isn’t actually anything true of that ilk that I would not admit publicly as I am not someone who pretends the absence of plebeian tastes. But it sometimes does make me cringe as to my priorities that I occasionally make time to binge-watch The Royals series in Netflix.
If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?
That would be either Marvin Gaye’s, ‘What’s Goin’ On’ or otherwise, ‘Solace’ by Rufus du Sol, which got me through the global pandemic.
If your life were a movie, who would play you?
We have had a couple of screenwriters approach us with thoughts of doing a treatment of my life story: and every time, the paradigm for portraying me in Selena Gomez.
