London’s Rising Star Allegra Reveals ‘Unsent Love Letters’ In Her Debut EP

With her debut EP, rising star Allegra is gearing up to make a splash. Diverting from hits alongside renowned DJs such as DJ Alok and Tiesto, the ascending star has delivered her most personal work to date, ‘Unsent Love Letters Vol.1’.

Produced by Tim Gosden, this authentic collection of songs was created by Allegra’s desire to write letters to past lovers – and never send them. Representing the various emotionally challenging stages of a relationship, each song symbolizes the singer-songwriter’s journey towards independence. Continuing her messages of self-love, it makes for an empowering listen and uplifting stride into a distinct, emotive pop sound.

Lead single ‘Strangers’ is everything the EP represents, showcasing the transition from heartbreak to self-love. Her melodic talent is clear throughout, blending the sassy stylings of Tate McRae and Dua Lipa on the relatable ‘Refund’ with the melancholic, piano-based soundscapes of ‘Upgraded’. Having explored the frustration over a relationship to the positive growth of confidence, ‘Rain’ leaves the release on a high note, confronting the next phase of her life post-relationship.

‘Unsent Love Letters Vol.1’ has everything – from hypnotic rhythms to tender vocals and heartfelt lyrics, it’s a grand, genre-defying display of emotions and personal experiences. As it’s only her debut EP, we can only wonder what she’ll do next.
