Northampton’s rising star Maddox Jones recently made his mark on the industry with uplifting singles ‘Change My Number’ and ‘England Together’, rallying nationwide support for the Euros. Now, the singer-songwriter is poised to take over the rest of the UK as he gears up for sold-out tour dates supporting legendary artist Will Young.
Born and raised in Northampton, Maddox Jones originally fronted successful rock band The Departure before embarking on a solo career. Having supported the likes of The Killers, Jones is certainly no stranger to the limelight.
Beginning on October 28th in Guildford and ending on December 4th in Cardiff, Jones is one of four acts to appear on the 23-date ‘Light It Up’ Tour, where he will showcase material from his forthcoming sophomore album.
Will Young originally won Pop Idol in 2002, which catapulted him to fame and has since gone on to release eight studio albums and win numerous awards. The upcoming ninth album, “Light It Up”, is set to hit the airwaves in August ahead of his UK tour.
