’10:10′ Is The Highly Anticipated Sophomore EP From Dream Duo, wearetdy

Released on May 26, ’10:10′ is the second EP to come from wearetdy, which comprises LA based married duo Dylan and Theresa, who met as children growing up just outside Nashville, Tennessee.

’10:10′ is available to stream and download here.

’10:10′ is the follow-up to wearetdy’s debut EP, ’10:01′, which they released earlier this year. a The three-track EP serves as a showcase for Theresa’s vocals, as well as her poetic lyrical abilities. The opening track, ‘Majesty’, is trancelike in quality, with humming and meditative chants from Buddhist monks layered into the mix. The track covers the ideas of finding yourself, and being at peace. It’s also deeply reflective of Theresa and Dylan’s recent marriage, with a focus on devoting yourself to your partner and their love.

‘Golden Light’, the second track on ’10:10′, tells Theresa’s story, her past, and what it means for her to fall in love and truly trust someone else. The title comes from an angelic saying that was given to them by an older family member, that “you both are covered by a shield of divine golden light”. Like ‘Majesty’, ‘Golden Light’ is meditative and contemplative; the tracks form a pair bond much like that of the duo themselves. Track 3, ‘In Spirit Nation’, is in two parts, with the first part a “slam poem” written by Theresa, set to music, which is about,

“looking deep inside yourself to see who you are and finding your purpose in life”

In the second half of the track, the focus is on how others see us, and our true self is revealed, concluding that as a human race, we really are all one.

’10:10′ was recorded at wearetdy’s studio in Downtown Los Angeles, and was produced by Dylan, who has more than 10 years in the music business. It’s a stunning EP that we hope to hear more of in the near future – given their speed of their first two releases, this seems certain!
