One the 27th of November, singer-songwriter Clerel released his double single “My Anthem” and “Talkin’ Bout Love.” Both of which are available to stream on all major streaming platforms now!
Clerel has one of the most charming voices that you will ever hear. His smooth and soothing vocals will immediately have you entranced. “My Anthem” is a beautiful ballad that you’re bound to fall in love with. It’s a warming love song that is filled with perfect harmonies, and modernises the classic 70s soul sound.
“Talkin’ Bout Love” has a similar vibe that is dreamy and stunning. It has a bit more of a bounce in contrast to “My Anthem” – making it making it foot-tapping worthy. Although, the smoothness and soul stays the same making both tracks blend with eachother wonderfully. Clerel has a stripped back sound that one doesn’t hear all that often. Although it is somewhat retro, it still works in the present day, whilst also being unique enough to stand out amongst the rest.
Clerel was originally born in Cameroon and raised in Ohio. Now living in Montreal, the artist focusses on showcasing his signature, soulful sound to as many people as possible. “My Anthem” and “Talkin’ Bout Love” are songs that perfectly define what the singer is all about.
