Rick Astley Releases ‘She Makes Me’ Video While Surfing The Wave Of His Hugely Successful UK Tour

Rick Astley is currently touring the UK and has been on the up and up, particularly following his star appearance on last week’s Graham Norton Show. Fresh from the first of two sold-out shows at Hammersmith Eventim Apollo in London, Rick’s released the hilarious video for his new single, ‘She Makes Me’.

Directed by Peter Neill, the clip is guaranteed to move you – as well as make you laugh. It opens with Rick trying to make his bright yellow Reliant Rialto start, which he’s lovingly cleaned. Rick’s comic timing is second to none, and brings to mind of the likes of John Cleese, and Rowan Atkinson.

The Reliant is anything but reliable, and towards the end of the video we see why Rick is so desperate to get the car working, as he pulls up to a house where his daughter is waiting to be driven to her wedding. Thankfully the car starts first time and they drive off (but leave the front door open!).

Rick continues his UK tour, with the second of his two concerts in London tonight.

You can see Rick on the following:

Fri 9th LONDON, Eventim Apollo
Sat 10th BOURNEMOUTH, BIC
Mon 12th NOTTINGHAM, Royal Concert Hall
Tues 13th NOTTINGHAM, Royal Concert Hall
Thurs 15th BIRMINGHAM, Genting Arena
Fri 16th LEEDS, First Direct Arena
Sat 17th LIVERPOOL, Echo Arena
