New Jersey singer songwriter Jared Dylan has a very impressive music resume. Still only 23 years old, Jared has performed with some of the biggest names in the industry, including members from Grand Funk Railroad, Badfinger, and Alice Cooper. He’s also opened for artists such as Andy Grammer, and We The Kings. Jared has recently released his latest single, ‘We Can’t, as well as a video.
Jared Dylan has opened for the likes of Andy Grammer, and We The Kings. His debut EP, ‘In Panic’, was released in 2012 and produced by the award winning Anthony J Resta. Jared saw the title track of his EP go on to win the 16th annual BMI John Lennon Songwriting scholarship in 2013; he took incentive from that and auditioned for season 3 of The Voice that year. He graduated from the Frost School Of Music at the University of Miami in 2016, while continuining his music career: his single, ‘Symphony’ was playlisted by Radio Disney and he’s amassed over a million Spotify streams.
‘We Can’t’ comes with a video which further showcases Jared’s strong work ethic, and reveals a more mature side of him than fans will have seen. He’s taking his career in hand, and self-produced the track, which tells of a heart, broken, sore, and betrayed. The video is shot from Jared’s perspective, and he cries, “Even when I feel like dying, you are still my heart’s desire”. He shows he is unable to shake off this love, no matter how many times the pain brings him back to the point of despair – his thoughts always return to his former lover.
‘We Can’t’ is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and Google Play. You can find out more about Jared Dylan online on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, as well as his official website.
