Michelle Branch is set to take London by storm next month when she plays a special one-off date at the Lexington March 22nd previewing songs from her forthcoming new album ‘Hopeless Romantic.’
Her incredible band will feature The Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney, who also co-produced the album; Beck bassist (and album co-producer) Gus Seyffert; Killers guitarist Jake Blanton; and Sturgill Simpson’s keyboard player Bobby Emmett. Be there or miss what promises to be an incredible evening.
‘Hopeless Romantic’ is the 4th studio album from Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum singer-songwriter, Michelle Branch. Released April 7th on Verve Records, it’s her first solo album since her Grammy-nominated ‘Hotel Paper’ in 2003. The album was primarily recorded in Los Angeles, and produced by Patrick Carney (The Black Keys) and Gus Seyffert (Beck, Norah Jones, Sia),
“A lot of these songs are about heartbreak, but knowing that it doesn’t mean the end of the world. It just means letting go and moving on and knowing that you’re going to be okay,” says Michelle. “This is my first real-life autobiographical record.”
