Pop Rockers The Scheme join a host of celebrities in support of Jeans for Genes Day 2016 and will donate all proceeds of their new single ‘Can’t Stop’ to help children with genetic disorders across the UK.
Friday 23rdĀ September will see The Scheme join a host of celebrities such as Nicola Roberts, Warwick Davis, Kate Moss and Lorraine Kelly when they overdo it in denim for Jeans for Genes Day.
There are over 6,000 diagnosed genetic disorders with an estimated one in 25 children affected by a genetic disorder and therefore 30,000 babies and children are newly diagnosed in the UK each year.
Ā The trio comprised of Kris, Kyle and Aleksey were inspired by Jeans for Genes ambassadors Jack Binstead, Jono Lancaster and Victoria Wright who they met at the launch of Jeans for Genes earlier this week ā they wanted to join the denim army and do their bit to help this great cause by donating all of the proceeds of āCanāt Stopā.
Ā āCanāt Stopā, which just landed at No. 10 in The Music Week Pop Chart, is the title track from The Schemeās forthcoming EP āJerome Heightsā released October 23rdĀ and the songās title is exactly how youād describe your relationship with the trackās replay button.
Ā With artwork being diligently handled by the brilliant graffiti artist Endless, and remixes from the excellent Wideboys and Westfunk, ‘Canāt Stop’ is a delicious slice of pop-rock that will be entering your ears one way or another and, with all of the proceeds going to Jeans for Genes we hope their fans across the UK Canāt Stop notching up those downloads.
āCanāt Stopā is released September 23rdĀ through Believe with all proceeds going to Jeans For Genes, and can be downloaded from iTunes.Ā
