Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan are familiar names to Disney fans, with the pair starring in Disney Channel’s ‘Liv & Maddie’ – Dove playing the dual role of identical twins Liv & Maddie, and Ryan playing Diggie, Maddie’s boyfriend.
As well as ‘Liv & Maddie’, Dove appears as Mal, daughter of Maleficent, in Disney Channel’s Original Movie, ‘Descendants’. Ryan meanwhile also plays the lead role in FOX’s remake of ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’. The pair, also partners in life (they recently became engaged) have branched out to form The Girl And The Dreamcatcher, releasing their first singles, ‘Written In The Stars’, and ‘Glowing In The Dark’, which have had over 9 million and 10 million YouTube views respectively.
Now the duo have released their follow up track, ‘Make You Stay’, which sees the pair as friends falling in love after Dove breaks up with her boyfriend. It’s an upbeat, anthemic track, combining a great beat, some soaring vocals, and a whole lot of fun.
The pair will release their new EP, ‘Negatives’, in July.
