Flagship 4

Hailing from North Carolina, indie-rock band Flagship consist of duo Drake Margolnick and Michael Finster.

Known for their blend of pop-minded melodies and passionate, stadium-sized indie- rock anthems, Flagship already have album number one under their belts and are set to release new EP ‘Faded’ on 10th July.

The pair are unveiling their latest single ‘I Want You’, a track which effortlessly moves from the pastoral folk sound, reminiscent of bands such as Fleet Foxes, The National and Grizzly Bear into a bright, innocent pop vibe.

Flagship’s Drake Margolnick explains the EP as,

“the most mature writing we have done, We didnÂ’t feel like we were writing songs, just writing lines. ItÂ’s just real life; thatÂ’s all it is. ThatÂ’s what weÂ’’d like to create; something thatÂ’ll be around for a long time and people will still listen to it. Leave a good legacy, write good music and have a lot of fun doing it.””

Described  as “some of their most impressive material to date”, ‘Faded’ is set for release on 10 July and can be pre-ordered here.

Flagship will be supporting Good Old War on tour commencing 12 July. For details of where you can see them, and further information about the band, visit their official website.
