Check out the new video by Blitz Kids! Released yesterday, “Keep Swinging” was filmed in LA, and features Brock O’Hurn, the LA private trainer who has become an Instagram star.
Since their album, “The Good Youth”, came out on Red Bull Records last year, there’s been a lot of buzz about Blitz Kids, and has seen them tour extensively, supporting such acts as We The Kings and All Time Low. They’ve performed at festivals such as Download, British Summer Time, and Sonisphere.
“The Good Youth” went straight in at number 5 on the UK rock chart, and has been described by Kerrang as “An album fit to stand alongside the very best of British rock bands”.
“Keep Swinging” is a positive and uplifiting song about just keeping on, living your life as best you can, because you never know what’s going to happen – “life is a mystery”.
Blitz Kids, formed in 2009, currently comprises Joe James (vocals), Jono Yates (on guitar and backing vocals), Nic Montgomery on bass (also backing vocals), and Matt Freer on drums. They’re off to the SXSW Festival in Austin Texas later this month (18-21 March) as part of the promotion of “The Good Youth”.
