Every UK Number One Song: Comes Along A Love

I have a playlist that contains every UK number one song since charts began in 1952. Thanks to EveryHit, this is a fairly simple process. Let’s remind ourselves of these songs.

“Comes Along A Love” by Kay Starr was Number One on 24th January 1953 and it remained at number one for 1 week.

What a cheery, upbeat song this is. What’s even more cheery is the fact that Kay is still with us and is still performing! Brilliant – a true legend!
