It seems our favourite Irish Popstars, John and Edward Grimes, better known as Jedward have decided they will not be representing Ireland again in the Eurovision Song Contest.
According to the Irish Sun, a change of submission rules by Irish TV channel RTE has left the busy twins without adequate time find an appropriate song.
Jedward had the most successful Irish Eurovision entry in recent times with their hit song Lipstick in 2011 and were again popular in 2012 with the song Waterline. Sadly Ireland have yet to find an act to emulate their success, with Ryan Dolan coming last in 2013 and Cann-Linn failing to qualify in 2014.
Meanwhile the Dublin Duo are riding high in the Irish charts with their new self penned dance track Ferocious and can be seen this Saturday on ITV’s new flagship game show Keep It In The Family.
They will also be co-presenting the Toy Show on Ireland’s TV3 this Christmas, along with former WestLife Star Brian McFadden.
