#BandAid30 – The Gift That Keeps On Giving

Band Aid 30

The #bandaid30 song has just been shown on television for the first time.

What do we think?

The lyrics have been changed to suit the new cause – Ebola.

It has a plethora of all the current big players in the music industry.

It’s a classic Christmas song and I hope it raises a lot of money!

What do you think of the new lyrics and who do you think has the best part?

Let’s also remember the previous versions of this amazing song.

The first version in 1984 was very raw and edgy.

The second version in 1989 was a Stock, Aitken & Waterman hit factory version and I’m quite sure Pete Waterman wasn’t just doing it for the good cause.

The 2006 version would probably be my favourite as it is more relaxed and more mellow.

I know the meaning behind the song is very sad but I still think of it as one of the best Christmas songs ever!
