James Walker Releases Debut Album ‘English Bones’ November 17

UK singer songwriter James Walker will release his debut album, ‘English Bones’, on 17 November 2027, via Wild Native Records.

With his previous EP ‘Fly Away’ receiving support from tastemaker radio stations such as Amazing Radio & BBC Introducing, as well as a string of regional stations. Jack is now looking to develop his sound with a new release that establishes him as one of the UK’s most promising new singer-songwriters.

Sarah Ragsdale – ‘Next Time’

Sarah Ragsdale is back with a very fun music video for her song, ‘Next Time’. The follow up to ‘This Kiss’ and ‘Ferris Wheel’, the uptempo track tells a tale of heartbreak, while illustrating it in the video using humour.

Simon Baum – ‘Nothing’

Back in July we introduced you to Simon Baum, and his charity single, ‘London’, released to raise funds for the London Bridge attack, and the Grenfell Tower disaster. Simon’s back with his new single, ‘Nothing’, as well as a beautiful video.

My Name Is Bear: Nahko Talks To Us Ahead Of His New Album

Singer songwriter Nahko is best known as the frontman of the world music collective, Medicine For The People. He started playing piano at the age of 6, and his songwriting moved to a more grassroots style in about 2012, when he travelled around the US with his van and his dog. Nahko’s album, ‘My Name Is Bear’, is in essence a prequel to his work with Medicine For The People, with songs written primarily between the ages of 18 and 21 (with a few more recent than that).
Lisa caught up with Nahko while he was visiting London to promote his new album.

Mello Talk – ‘Head Games’

With influences including The 1975 and Arctic Monkeys, Austin Higney’s pseudonym Mello Talk is his platform for writing compelling, coming of age anthems. His track, ‘Head Games’ is reminscent of Tame Impala and M83, and is a song about unrequited love.
