Sami Chohfi Releases Folkie New Single ‘It’s Just Me’ Away From Blue Helix

If you’ve heard the name Sami Chohfi, it’s probably been in association with his band, Blue Helix, known in the Pacific Northwest for their melodic hard rock songs, such as ‘Anti-Social Butterfly’. But ‘It’s Just Me’, the debut solo single from Chohfi, is anything but hard rock – it’s just Sami, his acoustic guitar, and quiet, reflective vocals.

The Cutthroat Brothers – ‘Kill 4 U’

The Cutthroat Brothers have been called “The Sweeney Todds Of Rock” because of their razor-sharp riffs and dangerously catchy songs. The pair, based in Tacoma, Washington, are both veterans of a regional rock scene, with Donny Paycheck formerly playing drums for Zeke (a hardcore band who made their name playing with Pearl Jam, Iron Maiden, and Mudhoney among others).
