Johnny PE was told by his brother he had a great voice, and should get into music. The seeds had already been planted when his father, an R&B singer in the 70s, played him Michael Jackson’s ‘Rock With You’, so he dropped his former alias, Johnny Phrank, and rebranded, with the “PE” standing for “Pushing Everyday”.
