Swifts, Spears, the Eurovision Song Contest and Jedward – all are just so typically May.

Where Are Jedward Now – Music, Television Appearances, And Their Jepic Social Media Presence

You may have read a recent article that claims to give the lowdown on what Jedward are doing now. It didn’t take us long to realise that not only was it out of date, but there were also some glaring inaccuracies. We here at EP have always felt that Jedward deserve better, and so we’ve written our own.

It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas: Jedward Make Perfect Angels On Top Of Tree In New Video

Christmas is fast approaching and some would argue (me) that the perfect gift to find under the tree this year would be Jedward. Almost exactly a year ago we featured Jedward’s John Grimes’ cover of the Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber single, ‘Monster’. Now we bring you another take on the song, by The Veer Union. Unlike John’s rendition, which saw him sing accompanied only by his acoustic guitar, and indeed, the original song, which was a dance pop number – in the hands of The Veer Union, and featuring Late Night Savior & Stealing Eden, the song is shaken from its pop foundations and given a more punk, almost heavy metal treatment.

We all know the song as soon as we hear the title, or indeed, as soon as we hear those first lines, “Wise men say / Only fools rush in”. In our minds we can also instantly hear the resonating vocals of The King himself, Elvis Presley, who died this day, 44 years ago. It’s a hard act to follow, but we think John Grimes has got it in the bag with his acoustic guitar cover of ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’.
