Mathematician and technologist, award-winning computer scientist and philanthropist Jim Allchin shows that maths and music use the same parts of the brain. Having won awards for his work with computers, he’s also a brilliant blues guitarist, and during his time at Microsoft he helped design many of the systems users continue to depend on.
