Rising pop-trio New Hope Club have just revealed the video for latest single, ‘Permission’. The video sees the band throwing a party and performing in the basement of their friend’s house, unbeknown to the parents who are upstairs also partying. The catchy and upbeat track amplifies the band’s excellent musicianship, and is sure to go down a storm live. ‘Permission’ was added into Spotify’s prestigious New Music Friday Playlist UK (685k followers) on day of release, and has also been added to New Pop Revolution (142k followers) and Apple Music’s Best Of The Week playlist. Hunt Sales has grown up in show business. He’s the son of legendary comedian and actor, Soupy Sales, and he’s played drums on stage since he was a teenager. He’s collaborated with the likes of Iggy Pop – he played drums on ‘Lust For Life’, and Todd Rundgren’s Top 20 classic, ‘We Gotta Get You A Woman’. He’s played with Bootsy Collins, and was one of the founding members of 80s experimental band, Tin Machine, which was fronted by David Bowie.

We’ve hit February! I’m sure January was longer than the entire of 2018? I had a lovely Saturday having brunch at Bao and Bing. It was so cool! It’s this cute little Thai cuisine restaurant just off Baker Street. You pick two buns and then your pieces inside the buns… Bao is like this fluffy, steamed bun and it’s absolutely scrumptious. I had salmon, avocado and vine tomatoes with me and a glass of prosecco or two. They also do this really fun thing where you can pick a number between 1-150 and if your number is called from this bingo box, your meal is free.
