The video sees the band throwing a party and performing in the basement of their friend’s house, unbeknown to the parents who are upstairs also partying. The catchy and upbeat track amplifies the band’s excellent musicianship, and is sure to go down a storm live. ‘Permission’ was added into Spotify’s prestigious New Music Friday Playlist UK (685k followers) on day of release, and has also been added to New Pop Revolution (142k followers) and Apple Music’s Best Of The Week playlist. Hunt Sales has grown up in show business. He’s the son of legendary comedian and actor, Soupy Sales, and he’s played drums on stage since he was a teenager. He’s collaborated with the likes of Iggy Pop – he played drums on ‘Lust For Life’, and Todd Rundgren’s Top 20 classic, ‘We Gotta Get You A Woman’. He’s played with Bootsy Collins, and was one of the founding members of 80s experimental band, Tin Machine, which was fronted by David Bowie.
