Released on the 16th of October, ‘It’s The Sky’ is the new single from Diver Through<\/a>, the band name of Brooklyn, New York, songwriter, Michael Baynes.<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n

It’s been a while since we last heard from Diver Through on here – four years in fact – but Baynes has lost nothing of sound we enjoyed back then, and if anything, he’s only added more of his own style to it.<\/p>\r\n

Opening with a strummed bass, ‘It’s The Sky’ has a raw quality about it, as it gives way to fuzzy electric guitar and an ever-present percussion that just never takes over, and is just exactly enough. Baynes’ vocals are\u00a0rich and heartfelt, as he sings of a love that seemed to been everything – but clearly it wasn’t…quite. But it’s not the fault of either party, but rather, it’s the sky’s fault – it’s changed and grown, forcing them apart.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
