Dance-pop riser SHAB is on a unstoppable rise, climbing the charts throughout the year with more than three Billboard Top 40 chart entries in the last eight months. Now, she’s reached a new high, landing at an impressive No. 11 – just shy of the Top 10 – on the Billboard Dance Music Chart with ‘Perfume (VIP Remix)’ ,an electrifying reimagining of the track that has already propelled her further towards stardom.

A euphoric, club-worthy take on the infectious hit, the remix is an intoxicating floor-filler that oozes sheer confidence in sleek, signature SHAB style. It’s no wonder the catchy rework is making waves.

Magnetic and utterly impossible to ignore, the track sees the artist embrace her Persian heritage in all its glory, honouring her incredible story of fleeing Tehran at the age of eight as the youngest of thirteen children. She spent five years alone in a German boarding school before eventually making her way to America – merely at the age of fourteen.

SHAB then began recording in Farsi before crossing over into English, where she met Grammy-winning producer Damon Sharpe and forged a creative partnership that would help shape the next chapter of her career. The rest is history: touring with the likes of Anastacia and JLS, releasing two cinematic and powerful albums including the critically acclaimed, ‘ONE SUITCASE’, and becoming a global ambassador for refugee charity Choose Love, to name just a few milestones.

‘Perfume (VIP Remix)’ marks a defining moment in SHAB’s career, and it feels perfectly timed – the kind of song that resonates on a global scale, laced with the driving rhythms that define SHAB’s work while retaining a shimmering Middle Eastern edge. Beneath that kinetic surface is a vocal performance that navigates heat and playfulness, control and abandon, with the ease of someone who has fully earned her place in the spotlight.

SHAB reflected on the milestone in an Instagram video, celebrating with her dance squad and gushing over the achievement:
