A hypnotic track, ‘Give In To Me’ channels the likes of Portishead and PJ Harvey, with its alternative art-pop sounds both atmospheric and deeply intimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turton came up with ‘Give In To Me’ from a lyrical idea that she further developed alongside producer, Kav Temperley, who took the track down a different direction to its original pop vibes, imbuing it with a trip-hop sound. The pair had been reminiscing about time spent in the UK, and so the resulting sense of nostalgia was incorporated into the song. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Australian Turton is an alternative artist and songwriter, whose influences include the above-mentioned Portishead, and PJ Harvey, as well as Massive Attack. Her songs often begin with words, an idea, or a feeling, before she comes up with the music to match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
