It&#8217;s clear that the point of view of the person in the song is one of unfinished business, and open questions that may never have satisfactory answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A blissful blend of Americana and Bluegrass, &#8216;Surrender&#8217; sees Benjamin&#8217;s vocals and guitar supported by bassist Taras Prodanuik, Jim Christie on drums, electric guitar from Doug Pettibone and fiddle from Eamon McLoughlin. Each musician is an absolute legend in their own right, with Prodanuik best known for his work with the likes of Dwight Yoakum, while Doug Pettibone has performed with many well-known artists, including Keith Richards, Norah Jones, Steve Earle, Elvis Costello, Joan Baez, and Mark Knopfler &#8211; just to name a few. Jim Christie has also toured with Dwight Yoakum, and Merle Haggard.
